What's New

As some of you may know already, we are planning to build out two new offices and a conference room and we’re hoping they will start soon.  This will be disruptive, but we’ll try to make sure the noise level is down and not too distracting.

Also, we are planning a focus group for Women in Leadership on June 3rd from 11:30 to 2:00. We’ve invited many women from various organizations in leadership positions to join this focus group. The plan is to come up with some great ideas, concepts, learning elements, and the many challenges women face in leadership and management. If you have not yet been invited, please reach out and email us if you would like to join this fabulous group of women leaders.

 We launched our CARE Initiative for those charitable organizations and towns/cities with very little budgets to work with when it comes to attending a series workshop at Priority Learning and we are getting some great responses and interest.  Our website has a page about it, outlining why, how and what and we hope you will let us know about a charitable organization who may benefit that you would like us to reach out to.

Spring has officially sprung and I hope you are getting out and enjoying the spring weather with the ones that you love.

Last month I promised that I would continue the dialog about what each leader can do to combat the darkness that seems to be a part of our daily lives.

Personal Best

Do you remember the last time you felt like you were at your ‘personal best’? As a student of leadership and individual/organizational development, I am not only curious about the pursuit of ‘personal best’ from the professional perspective, but also individually as an employee, a parent, and as a friend. There always seems to be room for improvement.

Another birthday recently snuck by for me, and while I’m grateful that they keep coming, I find it more and more difficult to stay as physically active as I’d like. My quest to maintain a level of fitness and strength isn’t as easy as it once was. My personal best running times are behind me, so what’s the point? I believe it’s about finding the best that I’m capable of right now. For the record, that will not involve any marathons.
