Priority Learning Newsletter November 10th 2017 Newsletter

What's New

We have designed a pilot workshop for Culture and Strategies and we are offering it on two different days because there are many who are interested to attend. The two dates are Friday, December 1st and Friday, December 15th from 9:00 am until 4:00. Ralph is excited to be facilitating this one!! We have 15 participants so far for each day, so it’s going nicely. If you haven’t had a chance to sign up for this, please feel free to contact me at 207-653-2552 or Lorraine@PriorityLearningResearch.com. This pilot workshop is free and we will provide continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages, along with materials and handouts.

On another note, we have a five-day, over five months, Train the Trainer series starting on November 13th from 8:30-4:30 each day. The rest of the dates are December 4th, January 8th, February 5th, and March 5th. Ralph will be facilitating this series as well. Please contact me if you have people who would like to sign up. This program is for anyone who coaches and trains others on any topic or process, designs and delivers programs in their organization, and who would like to learn new skills of training and development from beginning to end.

We have more programs that we will be designing for 2018:  Emotional Intelligence Series and Entrepreneurial half-day series.  More to come on these two series!!

Hope you are enjoying the Autumn season…best regards!!

Honoring Normand: Hope, Belief, Support, the Ending Chapter

If you are a regular reader of Priority Learning’s newsletter, you may have followed the story of Normand Dubreuil’s diagnosis of stage four lung cancer in June, 2013 and his subsequent journey through a maze of medical treatments including intensive chemotherapy and radiation.

Through seven articles written from May, 2014 to July, 2015, Normand shared the touching story of his emotions and his faith, the soaring highs and the gut-wrenching lows, from the shock of diagnosis through endless protocols, extreme fatigue and weakness, and the miserable impact of strong medications on his body. He shared his story with characteristic humility, honesty, and optimism. He gave us an up-close view, in sometimes heart-breaking detail, of improvement, setbacks, recovery, and short-lived remission.

He told his story with the incredible strength and fortitude of a remarkable man maintaining his sense of hope, belief, and support over a nearly four year battle with a terrible illness.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share the news that after a long and valiantly fought battle, Normand succumbed to his cancer on September 10, 2017.
